Leo D. Martinic joined SPC Financial® (SPC) in 1999. Leo has spent the last thirty-five years advising individuals and business owners on both financial and tax issues. One of his abilities is simplifying complex and changing tax laws into easily understood tax strategies. Leo graduated from Marquette University in 1980 cum laude with a B.S. in Accounting. He worked for Price Waterhouse in Milwaukee from 1980 to 1983 and received his CPA designation in 1984. Leo is a member of the AICPA, MACPA, and MSATP.

Leo spent the second part of his career in banking from 1983 through 1999 and has held various positions in several community and regional banks, including Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. In addition, he was a Branch President for First Chicago and its successors from 1990 through 1999.

He also maintained his own tax practice from 1983 through 1999 and obtained his first investment licenses in 1999. Leo joined SPC in November 1999 and is currently Treasurer of SPC.

Leo joined Edward G. Sella to form Sella & Martinic, LLC (S&M) in November 1999. He has spent twenty years as a partner in S&M which provides tax preparation and tax consulting services*, focusing on individuals, small businesses, estates and trusts.

Leo has been married to his wife Margaret for 38 years. Together they have four children ranging in age from 24 to 37 and eight grandchildren.
